View of Vail Committee – The View of Vail committee follows an established fundraising model that uses monthly POE (point of entry) events to introduce people to Vail Place and to establish relationships with these people as well as other community members culminating in an annual fundraising breakfast, The Dr. Vail Hour.
Objective - The View of Vail (V of V) Committee is charged with ensuring the success of the View of Vail initiative from the POE (Road to Recovery tour) to the Ask Event (the Dr. Vail Hour).
Purpose – There are 3 subcommittees under the View of Vail Committee. Following are the tasks for each of the subcommittees:
Point of Entry Team –

Ensure that monthly Point of Entry (Road to Recovery) tours are well attended

Assist with encouraging and identifying “POE in a box” opportunities (i.e., off-site POE informational meetings at places of business and other locations in the community).

Attend Point of Entry speaker’s bureau training and become a presenter at one of our tours or speaking engagements
Table Ambassador Team –
Follow Up and Thank You Team –

With assistance and direction from staff, coordinate and assign V of V donors for yearly follow-up and thank you efforts following ask events and when gifts are received.

Assist in making follow-up invitation calls after invitations are sent to donor appreciation events.

Assist in making thank you calls following any donor appreciation events.
