Many ways to get involved, foster recovery, and inspire

Our Clubhouse program and Philosophy focuses on Recovery for all through building relationships, self-confidence and enhancing the skills and abilities of our members. Our needs for volunteers are to support these components while you are here working with members in the community. The intention is to add to our collective strengths and assist with each person’s participation, and not take their place in this process. The concept is "do with, not for," and to inspire and provide opportunities to grow confidence and accomplishments. And have fun. Below you will find examples of the needs we have but if you have another gift to offer let us know. Thank you in advance for giving to our community and to yourself.

SOCIAL RECREATION ASSISTANT

This would involve you sharing your skills/talents in a particular area during our Social Recreation time. These times would be afternoon, evenings at both locations. We provide craft  supplies, examples would be : card making, beading, painting, musical talents, horse shoes, snow shoeing, skiing  and games. It is a great way to just connect with individuals and promote socialization and develop relationships.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Expand awareness of personal health issues and choices through groups or activities. These could include walking groups, healthy cooking/menu planning preparation, Mindful Eating, yoga or meditation.

SUMMER SOFTBALL ASSISTANT

Each summer we participate in the recreation league in the city. The games are on Tuesdays nights and we would need help with coaching bases, keeping track of the line-up and score book and inning stats and just general support.
