14 Dec TCF Foundation Awards Vail Place $10,000 Grant
We are pleased to announce that Vail Place has received a $10,000 general operating grant from TCF Foundation toward enhancing and expanding our programs in 2017.
“Vail Place has put itself at the forefront of the integrated care movement in Minnesota,” said Stefano Loverso, Vail Place Director of External Affairs. “Support of community partners like TCF Foundation will help us play an even more influential role in providing comprehensive, integrated and easily accessible healthcare for our community.”
In 2016 we achieved several key goals including expanding our focus on integrated care, and new partnerships for service delivery. Vail Place also became better known and had impacts on the Minnesota mental health system, and the broader community. The grant from TCF Foundation will help us continue this important work in the year to come, while maintaining our focus on providing whole-person mental health support.
“TCF Foundation and Vail Place have shared a mutual respect of and commitment to the health of individuals with serious mental illnesses,” said Barbara Shaw, chair of TCF Foundation. “Our support includes a rich history of executive-level board membership as well as financial support. We are proud to have provided more than $100,000 to Vail Place during the last decade, and we hope to continue our support in the future.”

TCF Foundation is the philanthropic arm of TCF National Bank. It provides grants to non-profits actively supported by TCF team members through volunteerism or service on boards and committees. TCF also matches team member non-profit donations dollar for dollar, supports team member fundraising efforts and provides the funds TCF Bank branches deliver to non-profits in their local communities.
