Vail Place 2020 Annual Report

Vail Place 2020 Annual Report

We’re proud to share Vail’s 2020 Annual Report celebrating all that we accomplished during an incredibly challenging year.  Inside, we revisit long-standing programs and introduce several new services – all following Vail’s 40-year underlying approach… to meet people where they are.

We also highlight the ways that our community really stepped up in 2020 to help Vail adapt and achieve the accomplishments highlighted in the report.  There were so many, we had to add more pages.

What’s on tap for 2022?

This year, we face an unexpected challenge. We’ve lost a major funder, creating a $150,000 gap in our 2021 budget.

“This was such a blessing and thank you for giving us this opportunity. Being able to get the vaccine at my clubhouse significantly reduced my anxiety.”

We’re asking you to do what you can to help us close that gap and meet the moment – building on what we’ve learned so we can continue to keep people comfortable, safe and healthy, for example when we brought the Vaccine Bus to our Clubhouses.

Plus, we need to keep everyone who needs us connected, in person, and virtually:

  • The option to engage virtually ensures people won’t miss their connection.
  • We’ve reached new people virtually we couldn’t reach before.
  • Some found virtual a better option to connect more easily, more often and more effectively.

It was a heavy lift going virtual. It will be an equally heavy lift creating an effective hybrid of a return to in person programming while maintaining and integrating virtual options.

But we can only do that with your support and partnership. Consider making a donation to help Vail Place in the next 4- years.  Learn more about Donor Opportunities here.
