Role: Director of Human Resources        Reports to: Sr Director of Administration         FLSA Status: Exempt         Salary Range: $85,000 to $95,000

Vail Place seeks a passionate Human Resources Director to lead our employee empowerment and development efforts. You will enjoy helping us navigate growth, change, and rebranding. We need an experienced HR professional familiar with employment law and compliance. Most importantly, you share our commitment to providing high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate services.

What will you do?

The Human Resources Director collaborates with department leaders to implement HR initiatives that attract, develop, and retain top talent aligned with company goals. The Director leads full-cycle recruiting, including proactive outreach to build a diverse talent pipeline. They champion employee retention by fostering engagement and a positive culture. They provide guidance on staffing, compensation, benefits, training, budgets, and employee relations best practices. The HR Director administers policies and procedures consistently across the organization. They resolve complex employee issues through coaching and conflict resolution. Partnering with the Senior Director of Administration, the HR Director ensures compliance with company policies, practices, and regulations.
