02 Oct Prince Harry Battles Mental Illness Stigma
In an exclusive interview with ITV News, Britain’s Prince Harry said more needs to be done to fight the stigma surrounding mental illness. As he readied to join injured veterans on a 1,000 mile walk across the country to raise awareness, Prince Harry advocated for more support for “unseen” injuries – including PTSD for military or other forms of mental illness in civilians.
Prince Harry said, “Mental health is a sensitive subject amongst a lot of people but it doesn’t need to be. We need to talk to about it more.” He also encouraged those with mental illness to seek help. Read more and see the interview at ITV.
