Vail Place Named a StarTribune Top Workplace for the Second Year in a Row

We are excited to announce that Vail Place has once again been named one of the 150 StarTribune Top Workplaces in 2020. This is the second year that Vail Place has earned its place on the list of the best workplaces in Minnesota. Top  Workplaces is an annual award based on an independent survey sent to each organization’s own employees who answered questions about engagement, organizational health and overall workplace satisfaction. This year the survey showed that feeling a connection to employers is the most important theme explored.

“Despite all of the challenges we’ve faced during the pandemic, this recognition shows that our staff remain engaged and committed to our mission and our purpose,” says Vicky Couillard, Vail Place. “To be recognized in this way, and at this time based on the feedback of our own people is incredibly meaningful.”
The Top Workplaces process is based on a scientific survey of employees who rate their workplace culture and is done in more than 40 markets each year. Any company in Minnesota with more than 50 employees can be nominated.  Those surveyed employ 148,516 people in Minnesota. The top 150 companies were ranked based on the surveys and their size. Vail Place was ranked 52nd on the 2020 list.
A complete list of those selected is available here and was published in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces special section on Sunday, June 28.
