Along with her extensive experience within the meetings and events industry, Rochard-Marine has served as a board member for other Minnesota non-profits where she has made significant contributions in the areas of strategic planning and marketing, among others.

“As an organization, Vail Place needs to be ‘top of mind’ for those who can provide help for people, and those who need it, ” said Rochard-Marine.  “I’m excited to utilize my experience in events and marketing to support the mission of this extraordinary organization and ultimately help more people with mental illnesses live healthy, fulfilling lives.”

Ted Schatz

Ted Schatz has been a residential realtor in the Twin Cities metro area for nearly 20 years. His experiences in the housing industry include specific insights and connections regarding housing assistance ideas and projects, an important aspect of Vail Place programs.

“I have been tremendously impressed by the collaborative and welcoming energy of the Clubhouses along with the holistic approach that Vail Place takes to helping its members,” said Schatz. “That combined with their track record of success in helping people with serious mental illnesses were the main reasons why I’ve chosen to dedicate my time and energy to their mission.”

Both Rochard-Marine and Schatz joined the Board this fall and are participating in planning for 2021. For a full list of Vail Place Board of Directors click here.
