Vail Place Receives Grant from The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation

We are pleased to announce that Vail Place has received a $15,000 grant from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation. The Schulze Family Foundation supports organizations operating in the areas of human and social services, education, health and entrepreneurship.

We will use the grant for our ongoing programs that help people with serious and persistent mental illnesses work toward self-sufficiency, at both our Clubhouses in Hopkins and Minneapolis. The funding will help us provide employment, housing, social and wellness services so our members learn how to build tools, skills and supports necessary to long-term recovery, and to reconnect with the community.

“We’re honored to receive this funding from the Schulze Family Foundation. We’ve admired the work the Foundation has done for our community for many years. This grant will help us continue to promote long term recovery for those with mental illness,” said Vicky Couillard, Executive Director of Vail Place.

Thank you to The Schulze Family Foundation for this generous grant!
