Uptown Minneapolis Location

Welcome to the

Vail Uptown Clubhouse!

What is a Clubhouse?

Centered on relationship building and community, a Clubhouse is comprised of “members” and staff working together on recovery from mental illness through hope, purpose, and opportunities.

We work hard!

We believe that work is rehabilitative, so members and staff work together side-by-side on projects to operate the Clubhouse based on their interests and skills. Members provide peer support to each other to reach their educational, employment, wellness, housing, and other goals.

And play hard!

Vail Place Clubhouses offer a wide variety of social, recreational, and cultural events and activities. From book clubs, to learning languages, to writing workshops, to parties, to talents shows- we have it all!

Join Us!

Starting in February, We will have one Clubhouse open at a time and the open Clubhouse will be open Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30 pm.  We will have our Uptown Clubhouse open one week and the Hopkins Clubhouse open the following week and we will offer transportation between the two locations. We are encouraging all Members to come to whatever Clubhouse is open. You can see what Clubhouse is open on our calendar! Our Clubhouses also use Zoom meetings and Facebook groups for folks to connect during times when we aren’t open physically and we even have hybrid meetings so folks that aren’t able to come to the Clubhouse physically can be involved!
